WRITING

Tobi's writing includes analytical non-fiction as well as short pieces of prose and poetry. Her fields of interest include (but are not limited to) Earth-based spiritual integration; language and etymology; natural nutrition; and illness and wholeness. Her creativity is informed by the more-than-human places in which she is blessed to spend her days, years of apprenticeship with Earth-oriented teachers, an attentive ear to language, and several decades of investigative and scholarly pursuits in these fields.

Tobi’s current project is a non-fiction work that explores our broken relations with the world beyond the human realm through the lens of food and health.

In December 2021 Tobi and her photographer husband Arnim Rodeck self-published a bilingual (English-Spanish) photo-prose book dedicated to the trees. The following are sample pages from the book.
